Ontario is comprised of four chapters: Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Southwestern Ontario (SWO), Northern Ontario and Ottawa/Kingston.

Ottawa/Gatineau/Kingston Region

Ottawa/Kingston Chapter President

Lorraine Williams retired from Xerox in 2018 after 33 years with Xerox Canada in the Ottawa office. Lorraine worked in an administrative role, supporting the federal government sales organization both locally and nationally and participated in the black belt project that created the RFP Centre of Excellence. She took on the role of associate security officer, assisting the Xerox Canada head of security.

Since leaving Xerox, Lorraine has been spending time keeping active with outdoor interests as well as volunteering with local charities.

Ottawa region is located in the sub-region of Southern Ontario called Eastern Ontario. Gatineau is located in southwestern Quebec. Although overall Ontario is west of Quebec, the boundary in this region is situated in such a way that Gatineau is north of Ottawa, and northwest of the city centre.

Bill Warren is the President of the Northern Ontario (705) Chapter.

Bill retired from Xerox in 1998 after 25 years with Xerox and 3 Years with FairCopy Services. Bill worked in ISD, Administration, Xerox Medical Systems and Finance.

Retired to Muskoka in 1998, built a new home on Lake Muskoka, Started his own business "Muskoka Home Meal Service", a distributor of frozen meals. Served for 10 years on the Board of Directors of Muskoka Futures. This group interfaces with small businesses doing loans and consulting under the auspices of FEDNOR.

Now fully retired and enjoying the "good life".

GTA Chapter President

Gary Lee retired from Xerox at the end of 2020 after almost 4 decades and 10 different roles. 

Started as a contract summer student and after 2 years was offered a full-time position in 1983.  My first assignment was in the Toronto North East Service district working as an Associate Service Representative where I first met Carolyn at a NEOP meeting.  After a few years I worked in HO supporting the FWSS and Parts Systems and learn a lot.  Then back to supporting our Customers in many Management & HO staff positions.  After an 8 year stint in US working with Worldwide Customer Service and Corporate XIM I transferred back to XCL. Retired end of 2020 with the wind-down of the MOP program as Corporate centralized under Global Manufacturing.

Still living just outside the GTA and learning how to transition to the retired lifestyle.  Hobbies include a love of cooking for the family, Musician, BBQ smoking specialist, RC modeling, DIY fixer of stuff. 

A proud father/mentor to 3 grown children; along with Carolyn travel and look after our family pet dog.



SWO Chapter President

Josie Assini is the newest Chapter President and will cover southwestern Ontario, area code (519).

Josie joined Xerox Canada in 1980 at the London, Ontario branch as SWO Service Secretary reporting to Mike Marsbergen, one of the best managers she's ever had during her career. She held the position for 12 years after which, she took on various other positions including BSR and Customer Satisfaction Rep.

In 1996 Josie moved over to XBS as a Customer Account Manager at the General Dynamics Land Services site. She became a CAM at Bell Canada site for short time and then transitioned to Operations Analyst supporting all sites in SWO region. Josie's last role at XCL was a Fleet Analyst. 

After 35 years at Xerox, Josie retired in 2015. Her career at Xerox allowed her to grow her knowledge of this great company, travel across SWO and meet some interesting people.
